State funds for the acquisition of textbooks in the public schools of this State may also be used to acquire instructional technology and other similar materials which have been approved by the State Board of Education. The procedures applicable to the use of these funds to acquire textbooks are also applicable to the acquisition of instructional technology and other similar materials.
