Ordinances of political subdivisions of this State prohibiting the acts prohibited by the provisions of this article, except Section 61-6-4720, are hereby suspended, it being declared that the State has occupied the field of the subjects covered thereby. Judicial and law enforcement officers of political subdivisions of this State must enforce these provisions within their respective jurisdictions. HISTORY: 1996 Act No. 415, Section 1.
