Historical preservation loan and grant fund established--Purpose--Sources of funds.There is established a historical preservation loan and grant fund in the South Dakota State Historical Society. The purpose of such fund is to make loans and grants to purchase, restore, or develop historic South Dakota properties for residential, commercial, or public purposes. The State Historical Society Board of Trustees, with the approval of the Governor, may accept into the loan fund any funds which may be obtained from repayment of loan principal, interest, gifts, grants, or contributions.
