Forgery and misrepresentation of archaeological objects--Sale of unlawfully collected objects--Misdemeanor.No person may reproduce, retouch, rework, or forge any archaeological, paleontological, ethnological, or historical object, deriving its principal value from its antiquity, or make any object, whether copies or not, or falsely label, describe, identify, or offer for sale or exchange any object, with intent to represent the object to be an original and genuine archaeological, paleontological, ethnological, or historical specimen. No person may offer for sale or exchange any object that has previously been collected or excavated in violation of any of the terms of this chapter.
