Section 1-32-7 - Interdepartmental transfers of health and consumer protection functions--Approval by Governor and filing

1-32-7. Interdepartmental transfers of health and consumer protection functions--Approval by Governor and filing.The secretaries of the Departments of Health, Agriculture, Public Safety, Revenue, Labor and Regulation and Human Services are hereby authorized to enter into mutual agreements, transferring among the departments any health or consumer protection inspection function assigned to any one of the three departments so as to promote the effectiveness and efficiency of such functions. Any such mutual agreements shall be approved by the Governor and shall be filed in the Office of the Secretary of State. Source: SL 1973, ch 2, §55; SL 2003, ch 272 (Ex.
