1-36-4. Officers of board--Functions--Meetings.The Board of Social Services shall annually elect from its members such officers as it deems advisable. A majority of the board members shall be required to constitute a quorum. The quasi-legislative, quasi-judicial, and special budgetary functions of the Board of Social Services are transferred to the secretary of social services; otherwise the board shall exercise such functions as are assigned to it by this chapter and such other functions as may be assigned to it by law.
