1-50-2.Commission responsibilities.The South Dakota State Emergency Response Commission shall:(1)Coordinate and implement the requirements placed on the state by 42 U.S. C. §11001 et seq. as in effect on January 1, 1991;(2)Designate local emergency planning districts and supervise and coordinate the activities of the local emergency planning committees; and(3)Coordinate and implement federal grants for training of local emergency planning committees and public sector employees.
