12-19-2.3. Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act--Application or request for absentee ballot.Any voter identified as being covered by the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act, 52 U.S.C. §20301 et seq., as of January 1, 2023, may submit an application or request for an absentee ballot by facsimile or emailed image to the person in charge of the election. The secretary of state may authorize a person in charge of an election to accept an application or request for an absentee ballot pursuant to this section through the system provided by the Office of the Secretary of State.
