12-19-55. Receipt of payment for assisting voters based on number of voters assisted prohibited--Violation as misdemeanor.No person may receive any wages, reward, or compensation for assisting voters based on the number of voters assisted. Nothing in this section prohibits any person from being employed on an hourly or salaried basis to assist voters. Any violation of this section is a Class 1 misdemeanor.
