13-53-29.2. Recipient of veteran's educational benefits exempt from twelve-month residency requirement.Any person living in the state shall be classified as a resident student without meeting the twelve-month residency requirement within South Dakota pursuant to the provisions of §13-53-24 if the person receives veteran's educational benefits pursuant to the provisions of chapters 30, 31, and 33, Title 38, of the United States Code as of January 1, 2019.
