The Governor shall appoint four members, including one member from the Board of Pardons and Paroles, one member from the Department of Corrections, one member from the Department of Social Services, and one additional member who shall serve as chair. The Chief Justice shall appoint four members, one of whom shall be a defense attorney. The majority leader of the Senate shall appoint two legislative members of the Senate, one from each political party. The majority leader of the House of Representatives shall appoint two legislative members of the House of Representatives, one from each political party.
