Housing--Modifications on behalf of disabled persons unnecessary--Disabled persons not relieved of obligations.Nothing in this chapter requires any person selling, renting, or leasing property, or any person acting for an owner, with or without compensation, including any person licensed as a real estate broker or salesman, property manager, attorney, auctioneer, agent, or representative by power of attorney or appointment, or any person acting under court order, deed of trust, or will, to modify the property in any way, incur any additional expenses or exercise a higher degree of care for a person having a disability than for a person who does not have a disability. Nor does this chapter relieve any person of any obligations generally imposed on all persons, regardless of any disability, in a written lease, rental agreement or contract of purchase or sale, or to forbid distinctions based on the inability to fulfill the terms and conditions, including financial obligations of the lease, agreement, or contract.
