Section 21-19-20 - Disputed valuation of homestead--Demand for appraisal

Disputed valuation of homestead--Demand for appraisal.If the debtor is the owner of a homestead as defined by law, the creditor may take issue with the valuation thereof claimed by the debtor. If the debtor owns such homestead, but has not made a claim for exemptions, or has not valued such homestead in such claim, the creditor may at any time file and serve upon the debtor a demand for appraisal of such homestead.
