Concurrent remedies by action and participation in probate proceedings.The right of action created by this chapter shall be concurrent with and in addition to the right of the state to conduct or participate in probate proceedings affecting the same property, and the two methods of procedure hereby authorized may be conducted without interference with each other, subject to the provisions of §§21-36-14 to 21-36-16, inclusive.
