21-38-2. Venue of restoration proceedings.The venue of proceedings to establish or restore a lost public record shall be:(1)Court records: in the court whose record is sought to be established or restored;(2)Register of deeds records: in the circuit court for the county in which the office whose record is sought to be restored is situated.
