Counterfeit lien as a misdemeanor--Second offense a felony.Any person who offers a counterfeit lien for filing, registering, or recording in a public office knowing or having reason to know that the lien is counterfeit is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor. A second or subsequent conviction for a violation of this section is a Class 6 felony.
