Uses of DNA samples remaining after analyses.All or part of the remainder of the DNA sample stored in the State DNA Databank may be used only for forensic validation studies and forensic protocol development purposes and to create a statistical database provided that no personally identifying information is included or for retesting to validate or update the original analysis or for quality control purposes.
