Notice to sentencing judge of inmate's change of status.The sentencing judge may request to be notified by the Department of Corrections if an inmate who was convicted of committing a crime escapes, is released from prison, is placed on furlough or work release pursuant to chapter 24-8, is returned from escape, or is removed from work release.
