County expenses in detaining parole violator--Reimbursement--Process.In order to obtain reimbursement pursuant to §24-15-28, the chair of the board of county commissioners of the county shall present a claim on a voucher to be approved by the secretary of corrections for detention expenses paid by the county, not to exceed ninety-five dollars per day. When the voucher is presented to the state auditor, the state auditor shall examine it and if the claim is just and valid, the state auditor shall issue a warrant for payment to be made from funds appropriated for that purpose, and the state treasurer shall then pay the sum to the treasurer of the county.
