27A-7-3.1. Conflict of interest--Procedure for removal of board member.If it appears any member of the board has a conflict of interest, he may be removed by the filing of an affidavit with the chairman of the board setting forth the grounds for the disqualification. Unless the affidavit appears clearly frivolous, it shall be granted. In the event of disqualification, a duly designated alternate or temporary replacement shall serve in the place of the disqualified board member. Source: SL 1991, ch 220, §40.
