27B-3-44. Notice to voluntary resident of release procedures--Right to discharge.Any person voluntarily entering a facility for persons with developmental disabilities shall be given oral and written notice of release procedures upon admission. Any person voluntarily entering the facility, regardless of age, has the right to discharge within twenty-four hours after request. Source: SL 2000, ch 131, §46.
