Intent to provide increased benefits to previously retired members of systems.It is the intent of the Legislature of the State of South Dakota to provide increased benefits for the already retired members of the retirement systems consolidated into the South Dakota Retirement System created by this chapter and to provide the financial resources necessary to adequately pay for the increased benefits.
