31-13-36. Township assumption of cost--Referendum. If it is deemed expedient for the township to assume and pay any portion of the cost of the improvement, the resolution may so provide, or the portion to be assumed may be provided by a subsequent resolution, subject to the right of referendum on such resolution, pursuant to the procedure set forth in § 31-3-14.
