31-29-64. Advertising prohibited within certain distance of interstate or limited access highway interchanges, intersections at grade, or rest areas--Measurement.On interstate highways or limited access primary highways outside municipalities, no outdoor advertising device may be located adjacent to or within five hundred feet of an interchange, intersection at grade or safety rest area. Such five hundred feet shall be measured along such highway from the beginning or ending of pavement widening at the exit from or entrance to the main-traveled way. Source: SL 1977, ch 246, §4.
