32-6C-7. Issuance of dealer plates--Fees--Disposition of fees--Numbering of plates.The department shall issue license plates of a durable material to licensed dealers upon application and payment of ten dollars for each set desired. Two dollars of each fee collected for each set of dealer license plates shall be credited to the motor vehicle fund and the remaining eight dollars shall be credited to the snowmobile trails fund. The license plates shall bear a prefix of the letters 'SD' and contain a distinguishing identification number of the licensee. Source: SL 1987, ch 223, §7.
