32-9-16. Time for payment of commercial motor vehicle fee--Time for display of plate--Violation as misdemeanor.Payment of the annual commercial motor vehicle fee shall be made before beginning an operation or anytime within ninety days prior to the vehicle's registration date. A commercial motor vehicle plate shall be displayed prior to beginning operation and during operation.A violation of this section is a Class 2 misdemeanor.
