Possession of registration documents required--Violation as misdemeanor.It is a Class 2 misdemeanor for any person operating a motor vehicle under the provisions of this chapter to operate a motor vehicle upon the highways of this state who does not have in his possession registration cards evidencing full and proper licensing of that particular vehicle in accordance with the provisions of this chapter.
