Section 32-12-62 - Record of out-of-state convictions upon application by new resident

Record of out-of-state convictions upon application by new resident.Whenever application under this chapter is received from a person previously licensed in another jurisdiction, the Department of Public Safety shall request a copy of the applicant's record from such other jurisdiction. When received, this record shall become a part of the applicant's record in this state with the same force and effect as though entered on the applicant's record in this state in the original instance.
