Combination of towing vehicle and trailers or semitrailers transporting light or medium duty trailers for commercial delivery.Notwithstanding the length restrictions in §32-22-12.1, a combination of vehicles consisting of a towing motor vehicle and two trailers or semitrailers transporting light duty and medium duty trailers constituting inventory property of a manufacturer, distributor, or dealer of such trailers for commercial delivery may not exceed eighty-two feet in length. The gross weight of the combination of vehicles may not exceed twenty-six thousand pounds. Neither the power unit nor the trailers or semitrailers may transport any additional property for delivery when used for this purpose. Source: SL 2017, ch 142, §3.
