Additional security when previous proof becomes inadequate--Suspension of license pending filing additional proof.Whenever any proof of financial responsibility filed under the provisions of this chapter no longer fulfills the purposes for which required, the Department of Public Safety shall, for the purpose of this chapter, require other proof as required by this chapter and shall suspend the license and registration pending the filing of such other proof.
