Delivery and communication of active service order--Procedure.Any order pursuant to §33-9-1 or 33-9-2 shall be delivered to the commanding officer and immediately communicated by the commanding officer to each subordinate officer. Each company commander receiving the order shall immediately communicate the substance of the order to each member of the company being called to duty. If any such member cannot be found, a notice in writing containing the substance of the order shall be left at the last and usual place of residence of the member with some person of suitable age and discretion, to whom its contents shall be explained.
