33A-1-24. Duties of county veterans service officer--Direction by department.Each county veterans service officer shall provide, within the county or counties employing the officer, local contact between fieldmen of the Department of Veterans Affairs and persons in the armed service or those discharged from such service, and the dependents of such persons. The county veterans service officer works under the direction of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
