34-11-5.1. Patient information confidential.Any information obtained by the staff of an ambulance service that contains a patient's name, address, diagnosis, treatment, or other personally identifiable information is confidential, except as authorized by law, and may not be published or disclosed without authorization from the patient or the patient's designee.
