34-11A-34. Deferred compensation program for volunteer advanced life support personnel.Any ambulance district with volunteer advanced life support personnel may establish a deferred compensation program for its volunteer advanced life support personnel. Such a program may be financed by the ambulance district or by the volunteer advanced life support personnel and may be managed through the ambulance district or through an insurance company or other financial institution. Such program shall be established by ordinance. Each ambulance district shall establish requirements for participation in the program. Participation in the program of deferred compensation shall be at the option of the volunteer advanced life support personnel. Source: SL 2011, ch 36, §4.
