34-12-19. Grounds for suspension or revocation of license.The State Department of Health may suspend or revoke a license issued under this chapter on any of the following grounds:(1)Violation of any of the provisions of this chapter or the rules issued pursuant thereto;(2)Permitting, aiding, or abetting the commission of any unlawful act in such institution;(3)Conduct of practices detrimental to the welfare of the patient; and(4)Failure to allow department inspections, including inspections authorized under §34-12-16, complaint inspections and necessary follow-up inspections.
