34-18-10.1. Review of application--Issuance or refusal to issue license--Reasons for denial--Contest of denial.The department shall, in the case of every application for licensure, review and ascertain whether the facts set forth in the application are true. The department shall issue a license to the applicant when it is satisfied that the facts set forth in the application are true. The department may refuse to issue a license upon any of the grounds stated in §34-18-27.1. Upon denial, the department shall advise the applicant of the reasons for denial. The applicant may contest the denial pursuant to chapter 1-26. Source: SL 1986, ch 281, §5.
