Delayed registration of birth, death, or marriage--Fee.If a birth, death, or marriage occurring in this state has not been registered within one year from the date of occurrence, a certificate may be filed in accordance with regulations of the secretary of health, and shall be marked 'delayed' on the face of the certificate. Each applicant for a delayed birth, death, or marriage certificate shall submit a fifteen dollar fee to the Department of Health for the preparation and filing of the delayed record.
