36-4-38. Destruction of inactive patient records.Nothing in §36-4-37 prevents a physician licensed pursuant to this chapter from destroying patient records which have become inactive or for which the whereabouts of the patient is no longer known to the physician. Source: SL 1992, ch 265, §2.
