36-4-48. Medical abortion--Definition of term.For the purposes of §§34-23A-34, 36-4-8, and 36-4-47, the term, medical abortion, means a procedure that uses medication to intentionally terminate the life of a human being in the uterus, and does not mean a procedure for the management of a miscarriage.
