36-8-2.1. Lay member of board--Appointment and term of office.The membership of the Board of Podiatry Examiners shall include one lay member who is a user of the services regulated by the board. The term lay member who is a user refers to a person who is not licensed by the board but where practical uses the service licensed, and the meaning shall be liberally construed to implement the purpose of this section.
