36-9-89. Temporary permit for clinical nurse specialist awaiting exam results.Upon application and payment of the required fee, the board may issue a temporary permit to practice as a clinical nurse specialist to an applicant who has completed an approved program and is awaiting the results of the first examination that the applicant is eligible to take after the permit is issued. The temporary permit shall become invalid upon notification to the applicant of the results of the first examination. Source: SL 1995, ch 217, §12.
