36-10B-3. Board authority.The board may:(1)Examine qualified applicants for a license to practice nutrition and dietetics, issue licenses to applicants who meet the requirements established by this chapter, and renew licenses as recommended by the nutrition and dietetics council; and(2)Adopt rules pursuant to chapter 1-26, that set professional, practice, and ethical standards for licensed nutritionists.
