36-12-19.2. Maximum length of study--Attendance at course of study certified.The length of study required by §36-12-19.1 may be prescribed by the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners pursuant to §36-12-19.1 but may not exceed twenty-four hours in any calendar year. Attendance at any course of study is to be certified by the board upon a form provided by the board. This form shall be submitted by each registered veterinarian at the time he makes application for renewal of his license pursuant to §36-12-19. Only attendance at courses approved by the board are certifiable. The board may not require a greater number of hours of study than are available within this state. Source: SL 1979, ch 258, §3.
