Section 36-15-4 - Qualifications of professional commission members--School affiliation prohibited

Qualifications of professional commission members--School affiliation prohibited.Each professional member of the commission shall be:(1)A resident of this state;(2)At least twenty-five years of age;(3)Actively engaged in the practice of cosmetology for the three years immediately preceding the appointment; and(4)Currently licensed as a cosmetologist in this state at the time of the appointment and while serving on the commission.No member of the commission may be a member of or affiliated with or have an interest in any school while in office.
