License required for practice.No person may engage in the practice of fitting and dispensing hearing aids or audiology, or display a sign, or in any other way advertise or hold oneself out as a person who practices the fitting and dispensing of hearing aids or audiology in the State of South Dakota unless the person holds a current license issued by the board as provided in this chapter.
