Section 36-29-3 - Qualifications for license

Qualifications for license.The board shall issue a license to practice athletic training to an individual who:(1)Submits an application prescribed by the board;(2)Submits an application fee in an amount established by the board; and(3)Presents evidence satisfactory to the board that:(a)The individual has completed all qualifications established by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer and has passed a nationally accredited exam approved by the State Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners; or(b)The individual is certified in good standing by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer.
