Section 36-37-21 - Disciplinary actions

Disciplinary actions.The board may impose any of the following disciplinary actions on a speech-language pathologist or a speech-language-pathology assistant after formal or informal disciplinary action:(1)Refuse to renew a license;(2)Issue a letter of reprimand or concern;(3)Impose probationary conditions;(4)Require reimbursement to the board for costs of the investigation and proceeding;(5)Suspend or revoke a license;(6)Impose practice or supervision requirements, or both; or(7)Require attendance at continuing education programs specified by the board as to content and hours.
