38-1-19. Collection and publication of agricultural and marketing statistics.The Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources shall have power to collect and publish statistics relating to crop production, marketing and farm economics, the production and marketing of all farm products only so far as such statistical information may be of value to the agricultural and allied interests of the state; and to cooperate with the federal government, the South Dakota State University and agricultural organizations in the matter of collecting such statistical information.
