38-1-21. Department as bureau of statistics--Dissemination of information--Cooperation with other agencies.The Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources shall also function as a bureau of statistics. It shall have authority to gather and disseminate timely information concerning the supply, demand, prices, and commercial movements of farm products including such as may be held in cold storage. It shall interchange such information with the United States Department of Agriculture and with various farm organizations, both state and local. It shall also cooperate with the secretary of revenue in compiling and distributing a complete list of all crop statistics.
