38-1-30. Cooperation with commissioner of school and public lands in forest protection.The Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources shall have power to cooperate with the commissioner of school and public lands in protecting the forests of the State of South Dakota, and particularly in the matter of guarding against and preventing the devastation or destruction thereof by any insects, pests, or fires.
